Baby? I got this.
I find it very hard to believe taking care of a baby is much harder than taking care of my princess of a beast. Gov had Giardia--how he got this being the indoor precious that he is, I have no idea-- so he was sick, sick, sick all week. It was nasty and I was up all night all week with the critter. I had to clean and take Governor out in the cold or shower or just lay there by his kennel. Ew. I consider myself officially baby trained. 2 am feedings? Bring it, Teddy. I got this. We also made the executive decision after doing a load of poop coated towels everyday that our kids will not be participating in the cloth diaper craze. Ew.
I'm getting fat, which is actually kind of refreshing bc I look pregnant vs fat slob who ate too many burritos. Still, alarming to look at the scale. Ew.
We had a lovely date night last week. I took Brigham for a much needed "man date" and we stuffed our bellies full of Texas Roadhouse rolls and steak (I'm secretly glad Zanesville doesn't have one bc I would totally go there too much and then I'd be too fat and it would just be depressing. You can't eat less than 387 rolls there. You just can't.)
Anyways, then we went to the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey game and had a blast. I miss living in Columbus like whoah.
We also crafted some letters for Theodore. Those stripes require dentist precision, folks.
Teddy has a crib! And a room! And a map so he is super smart! Its getting serious! I guess its really happening!
I have never gotten to put a real nursery together...I am jealous! Maybe someday ;) I love your belly bump...so cute. I am so excited for you guys and can't wait to see pics of the little man....it'll be here before you know it!!! Miss you guys.
