Fall is for fall things.

Like Friday night football games.

A lot has changed since my high school days, like the massive amounts of glitter every girl was wearing. Don't get me wrong, I LOOVE glitter and definitely went through a major glitter stage, but this was crazy. Maybe I was just secretly jealous I didn't get the glitter memo, but I creeper stalked examples. See exhibit A and B.

Exhibit A-- those aren't tights, people, that's colored glitter

Exhibit B-- note her face is literally 1/2 glitter.

We had a lot of fun watching the West Muskingum Tornadoes! The star player is a boy from our ward and he scored 2 touchdowns! (and kicked, and punted, and was the middle linebacker-- basically he was the whole team) :) If only I knew a cute high school girl to set him up with... maybe one in Oregon...

Fall also means a trip to Longaberger and Amish country with our VERY FIRST visitors! Spots are filling fast, so if you would like to visit (and who wouldn't) you best get to planning.

The Cranes and Katie both made the trek to Zanesville. And humored me by taking this picture bc I am the only one in this group that actually wanted to be in the basket.

The largest apple basket in the world!

I think Brig and Carl sampled at least 5 lbs of good ol' Amish cheese.

Yummy.

And in work news, Brigham decided to prank the girls by adding fake doughnuts into the Thursday doughnut box. It was really a fun time, but would have been better if he didn't go around asking super sweetly, "Would you like a doughnut?" They knew he was up to something, but it was still hilarious.

Here I am at work in our oh-so-NOT spacious office. I think I had been hired 10 minutes before I complained and got them to re-think things. They are now custom building new desks. Demanding? Maybe. Happy? Yes.

And the best part of work? My first PAYCHECK YAY!

Fall also has the BEST running weather. I've been having such a fun time running around Zanesville. On Friday, Brigham and Governor came with me! My guys are so cute.

Gov discovered the window on the way home. I can't look at this picture and not laugh. I'm a crazy lady who takes wayy too many pictures of her dog, but I can't help thinking he's just the funniest thing.

And, lastly, the house update. It's a great house, but boy does it have some weird things. Our doorknobs tend to fall off on occasion and lucky for me, I got stuck in the bathroom. I had to call and have Brig come rescue me. Now THATs a story for the grandkids.
