Welcome to Zanesville, Ohio
After quite possibly the best summer ever, we have officially moved to Zanesville, Ohio. Famous for wild animals running amuck, a Y-shaped bridge, overpriced basketry, and now the doctors Burton.
Our Summer Highlights:
(and we are just going to skip the part where we were homeless for a month and lived out of our car/totally took advantage of our friends)
Dental school graduation. Tah DAHH! Finally. I am very smart and own many leather-bound books.
And all these people love me.
The Governor has started exploring fashion. We encourage him to try new things and express himself. Lately I've been calling him "your Majesty" (with a capital M of course) because he is such a spoiled brat sometimes. He sits on the best pillows and spends forever selecting the best grass for his waste. (Only commoners call it poop). He misses Ansel everyday.
I turned 28 and got 2 of the best presents ever. From my mom: a 7 lb tub of mango Bobas. My Diet Coke habit just stepped up a notch.
From Brigham, a .22 rifle complete with banana clip. He knew I would be totally left out without a gun in Zanesville. Apparently its a big deal here. I named my beauty Eglentine, and oh how she shines.
Aunika came out to see me and we had such a blast.
We went to New York and were crazy tourists doing all the touristy things. Loved it. Special bonus was getting to visit Kit and Lynne AND crash at their house.
Brig turned 30! It was great to celebrate with the whole Burton clan at the cabin.
After a super fun Utah/Idaho vacation, I went to Oregon to visit my family while my husband slaved away making me money to spend. I finally caught a fish with my dad after hours of no luck.
So, there you have it. Quite a perfect summer. We are excited for our new adventures this fall!
Eglentine. What a name... That .22 has a lot to live up to!
