JANUARY
It's a new year, and you'd think we would have new and exciting things to post. Spoiler alert: we dont. We get up, go to work, eat a lot, and go to bed. Oh! We DID join a gym, though, so stay tuned for greasy, beefed up pictures of the Burtons. JK.
Since baby Theodore is more than halfway formed, I figured it was ok to start getting ready for the little guy. First purchase= these amazing swim shorts. Yes, they were expensive, but I couldn't resist. Plus I have a thing for yellow and gray.
I sewed curtains for his room, too! Basic, yes, but I'm proud.
Baby Teddy also got a rug. I'm positive he will be warped by Brigham, though, because he thinks its hilarious to say the wrong thing like "J is for pumpkin" and "H is for church". My kid might not know his letters, but he will have a funny dad!
Governor is still my precious. Poor guy doesn't know what's coming.
The bishop in the other ward has a tilapia farm/operation/shin-dig, so we went out to catch our dinner. I've never been on one of these before, so it warranted a photo.
Such a hunter.
We ate this guy for dinner! yum!
Brigham bought a 'weather center' this week. He is very proud. Want up-to-date weather from our backyard? Just ask. I thought it was ridiculous, but now I realize its kinda fun. As Brigham told me when questioning his purchase of said item, "What are we going to spend our money on if not fun things like this?"
Amen, brother. Guess that means Teddy gets those Ugg boots I want.
Look at that technology.
